The Central African Lutheran Churches were not planted by LCMS Missionaries. As their European planters stray more and more from Biblical truth, many of these churches are looking to the solid biblical foundation of the LCMS. The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod supports the work in the Republic of Congo (ROC) by providing financial assistance for the training of pastoral candidates at the seminary in Togo. The LCMS is currently supporting the development of the Lutheran Center for Theological Studies-Congo (CLETCO) in Brazzaville to provide pastoral training locally and partners in medical mercy work.
Meet the international team. We have more than 200 missionaries working around the globe.
