The Latin America and Caribbean Region had a special visitor this week. Deaconess Tiffany Manor, Director of LCMS Life Ministry, arrived in Santiago, Dominican Republic, to meet with the region’s Life Coordinator, Jamielynn Tinkey Flores, and other regional team members.

LCMS Life Ministry speaks up for life, cares for people in body and soul and teaches about the sanctity of human life in the United States and worldwide in conjunction with missionaries and partner churches. As a nurse and current deaconess intern in Latin America, Jamielynn has been charged with carrying that work forth into the region.

Jamielynn, LCMS missionaries and Lutheran church workers in Latin America and the Caribbean are engaged in important Life Ministry, holding up the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death, and the family as God designed it. They are pointing to Christ in all that they do, sharing the faith so that more people would come to have the abundant life that Christ provides (John 10:10).
