Last week in La Paz, Honduras, the FORO began with a bus crash that occurred while FORO attendees were en route. The accident, caused by rain-slick roads, resulted in two injuries requiring treatment at a local hospital. Thanks be to God, both men were released later that evening and are recovering nicely.
The FORO continued on a happier note, with several high points, including the dedication of a new parsonage and property. Missionary Pastor Alejandro Martinez from Nicaragua, who serves in the country of Honduras, officiated during the special service, which included three baptisms and two confirmations. Finishing touches are still needed on the parsonage. When those are complete, plans are to begin the construction of a new worship facility.
