PODCAST: Beautiful Harmony and a New Emperor

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Jastram discusses the new era and emperor in Japan.

In the last year, the Japanese emperor abdicated from his throne and passed along the title to his son, now Emperor Naruhito. On the podcast today, Dr. Jastram joins us again. He talks about the importance of this transition of power for the Japanese people. He also discusses the relationship of the emperor to his people, both politically and religiously. He also shares some of the history of the Shinto religion.
