Summary
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod has supported work in Nigeria since 1936. The Lutheran Church of Nigeria (LCN) became an LCMS partner church in 1963. The LCMS currently supports theological education programs at the LCN seminary and partners in medical mercy work.
