Alliance Missionary Pastor Iván Doebber is a church-planter in Comayagüela, Honduras, called by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brazil (IELB). Rev. Doebber provides Word and Sacrament ministry, conducts worship services, leads Bible classes and teaches catechism classes to adults and children. His focus on encouraging Honduran leadership, expanding outreach efforts across the country, and establishing the church’s mercy arm is a beacon of light to the people of Honduras.

Some of the very first children welcomed into Project 24 in are thriving as young adults in universities and colleges, walking in the hope that was planted in them years ago.

The Germany FORO brought together 10 attendees from the LCMS South Wisconsin and Michigan districts, the bishops of the Synod’s German and French partner churches, LCMS missionaries and staff, and a number of local pastors and Persian refugees to discuss mission work.

It is an exciting time for Lutheranism in Australia as the faithful saints in Lutheran Mission – Australia (LM-A) work to become their own synod and plant churches all over the country. There is always a great need for God’s Word and Sacraments, and these saints are eager to carry on teaching pure doctrine in accordance with Scripture, as upheld by our Lutheran forefathers.

Eight Lutheran organizations partnered with the Cambodia Lutheran Church (CLC) to provide community members suffering economic hardship brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic with basic material goods in the name of Jesus.
