Lutheran Heritage Foundation is Crucial for Mission Outreach
Since 2008 the Lutheran Heritage Foundation (LHF) has been producing materials in Spanish for the Latin America and Caribbean region.
The work in Spain began with Argentinian pastors supported by LCMS Missions in 1999. Today 3 congregations have been established in Madrid, Sevllia and Cartagena. There are 2 LCMS church planting pastors serving alongside 2 ordained Spaniard pastors. Additionally, three other men are currently being prepared as pastors. The IELE is a mission of LCMS and has a FORO partnership circle which meets once a year in Sevilla and once a year in Florida in order to bring the needs of the IELE to potential supporters of the work there.

Thirteen children attended the Assembly and were divided by age.

Felipe Lobo from Spain was ordained during the service, joining the newly ordained Missionary Pastor Isaac Machado as the fifth and sixth Lutheran pastors in the country.
