The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) supports work with the Concordia Lutheran Church in Mozambique (Igreja Luterana da Concórdia em Moçambique) through a multi-lateral partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brazil (IELB), the German Bleckmar Mission (also known as the Mission of Lutheran Churches), and the Free Evangelical Lutheran Synod in South Africa. The partnership is focused on pastoral formation through intensive courses and periodic visits but has also provided grants for land purchases, church construction, and water projects.
